Why a reward says pending, and when it stops

Pending is the most misread word in any rewards app. It does not mean something went wrong; it means the clock is running.

You completed something, the amount appeared, and next to it sits the word pending. Most support messages we get start here, and almost all of them have the same answer: nothing is wrong.

Two balances, one wallet

Your wallet keeps two numbers apart. Pending is money that has been earned but is still inside the window in which our partner can reverse it. Available is money that has cleared that window, and that is the part you can withdraw.

The hold period is set per offer and is typically 14 days. It always sits on the offer before you start, so you can decide whether the wait is worth it.

Why the window exists

  • A purchase gets returned, and the shop takes its commission back.
  • A game detects that a milestone was reached through automation.
  • A survey panel rejects the answers after a quality check.
  • A payment fails after the order was already reported.

In all four cases, money that reached us gets taken back. The hold is the buffer that means we can absorb that without asking you for anything.

What if it is reversed after it became available

It can happen, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a reward is reversed after it has already moved to your available balance, the amount is booked back and your balance can go negative. The shortfall is then offset against what you earn next. We tell you when it happens and why.

When to actually worry

If a reward has not appeared at all, not even as pending, then the tracking did not reach us, and that is worth a message. If it is sitting as pending and the hold period has not passed, waiting is the entire job.
